Codes Officer
The Town of Vienna will be accepting applications or resumes for Town of Vienna Codes Officer. This position will start June 1, 2026.
This part-time position is approximately 15 hours per week. Duties include but are not limited to enforcement of the NYS Fire Prevention and Building Code, the Town of Vienna Zoning Law, and any associated paperwork that is required. Preferred candidates should have a background in building construction, fire safety, zoning laws or other related fields. A High School Diploma and valid New York State driver’s license are required. NYS Code Enforcement Officer or Building Safety Inspector Certification preferred. Must obtain NYS Code Enforcement Officer Certification within one year.
