Law 3 of 2012 – rescinding law classifying Supervisor as full time

Local Law #3 of the Year 2012 Rescinds the law that the town board made classifying the position of the Supervisor as full time. Section I. Local No. #14 of the year of 2008 establishing the position of the Town Supervisor as full time is repealed in its entirety. The Town Board of the Town of Vienna declares the position of the Town Supervisor to be a part time position.

Law 1 of 2012 – PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Local Law # 1 of 2012 ENACTING A SLIDING SCALE REAL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND LIMITED INCOMES PURSUANT TO SECTION 459-c OF THE NEW YORK STATE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW Intent: To assist persons with disabilities and living on limited incomes with the affordability of their real property by enacting a sliding scale tax exemption pursuant to the authority vested in the town by Section 459-c of the Real Property Tax Law.

Law 6 of 2013 – Constable Residency Law

Town of Vienna Local Law No. 6 of the year 2013 A local law to establish the residency requirements for the appointed office of Constable for the Town of Vienna.

LOCAL LAW #1 OF 2014 AMENDMENTS TO TOWN OF VIENNA, ONEIDA COUNTY NEW YORK ZONING LAW A LOCAL LAW AMENDING AND CLARIFYING THE TOWN OF VIENNA, ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT GAS AND PETROLEUM MINING AND RELATED ACTIVITIES BE IT ENACTED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1: TITLE AND APPLICABILITY. The Town of Vienna hereby adopts this local law, to be known as the Town of Vienna Local Law Number 1 of 2014 Ban of Hydrofracking for Gas, Petroleum Mining and Related Activities.

Law #3 of 2015 – Dog Law

Local Law #3 of 2015 Town Law Dog Control Amendment of Local Law #4 of 2010. Purpose: The Town of Vienna, New York finds that the running at large andother uncontrolled behavior of dogs has the potential to cause or has caused physical harm to persons, damage to property and created nuisances within the Town. The purpose of this Law is to protect the health, safety and well-being of persons and property by imposing restrictions and regulations upon the keeping or running at large of dogs and the seizure thereof within the Town.

Law 2 of 2015 – Constabulary
